This book as stated above was printed in 1983 and although the book is not of the same quality i.e. photographic quality of some of the shunga books of today it is still a good book. I managed to find this one in an Oxfam store and paid £10. The colours in the book are quite vivid and there are several full "albums" reproduced in the book. The commentary text is amusing in parts, the book is translated from french. I enjoyed reading through it and it is a good introduction to the art of shunga. It may not be on the top of my recommended list but if you come across a cheap copy add it to your collection.
