Travellers Notebooks

Everyone loves having notes and keepsakes from their travels and these notebooks are fantastic.
Travellers have 3 stores in Tokyo and the shop in Nakameguro is their flagship store and they are called Travellers Factory.

Travellers company was formaly known as Midori Notebook.

Art & Literature

My dream would be one day to visit Japan, I thought it was always going to be to visit a Koi farm.

Why Japan? Every time I come into contact with anything Japanese I am surprised by the beauty, its stunning, the people and culture it is a mix of preserved heritage interwoven with modern technologies, how they do this and make it look so simple is a credit to them.

This is my collection of interesting Art and Literature mainly from Japan. Ukiyo-e prints from the Edo period, classic literature dating back as far as the Heian Period, Japanese classics such as Tale of the Bamboo (Taktori Monagatari)- the ancestor of narrative fiction (monagatari), Tale of Ise, Dream of the Red Chamber, The Tale of The Genji and more recently Seven Japanese Tales. Poetry based on either the content of the paintings on folding screens (byobauta) or Poerty competitions (utuawase), Diaries/Journals (nikki) and narrative fiction (monagatari).
